Breakfast Cook

Job Summary

Wyld Child is looking for a reliable and energetic Breakfast Cook to help prepare high-quality breakfast and brunch dishes during busy morning service. This position requires strong attention to timing, consistency, food safety, and presentation while working efficiently as part of a professional kitchen team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook breakfast and brunch menu items according to established recipes.
• Set up the kitchen and assigned station before morning service.
• Prepare eggs, meats, vegetables, breads, sauces, and other breakfast ingredients.
• Maintain accurate portions, cooking temperatures, and presentation standards.
• Read and prioritize tickets while keeping pace with a busy breakfast service.
• Coordinate with other kitchen stations to ensure complete and timely orders.
• Keep the cooking station clean, stocked, and organized throughout the shift.
• Follow food-safety, sanitation, and temperature-control procedures.
• Monitor ingredients and communicate replenishment needs to the kitchen lead.
• Assist with prep, cleaning, restocking, and closing duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous breakfast, brunch, line cook, or restaurant kitchen experience preferred.
• Familiarity with basic cooking techniques and commercial kitchen equipment.
• Ability to work efficiently during a fast-paced morning service.
• Strong attention to detail and food quality.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift typical kitchen supplies.
• Early-morning, weekend, and holiday availability as scheduled.

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
