Job Summary

Goldy's Breakfast Bistro is seeking a reliable and motivated Breakfast Cook to join the kitchen team. The ideal candidate will prepare breakfast and brunch dishes according to established recipes, maintain consistent food quality, and help ensure efficient service during busy morning hours. This position is suited to someone who enjoys cooking, teamwork, and working in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook breakfast and brunch menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
• Prepare ingredients and organize the cooking station before service.
• Cook eggs, pancakes, breakfast meats, and other menu items as assigned.
• Monitor cooking times, temperatures, portion sizes, and food presentation.
• Operate griddles, stovetops, ovens, and other kitchen equipment safely.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workstation.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and proper food-handling procedures.
• Coordinate with kitchen team members to ensure accurate and timely orders.
• Monitor ingredient supplies and report shortages to management.
• Assist with food preparation, cleaning, and closing duties.
• Maintain consistent quality during busy breakfast and brunch service.
• Help keep the kitchen safe and organized throughout each shift.

Qualifications

• Previous breakfast cook, line cook, or restaurant kitchen experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and food preparation.
• Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
• Strong attention to food quality, cleanliness, and safety.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Reliable attendance and a positive team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and safely handle kitchen equipment.
• Availability for early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
