Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast dishes, ensuring consistency and quality in every plate
• Follow established recipes and menu plans accurately to maintain flavor profiles and presentation standards
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including grills, poaching stations, braising pots, and food production appliances
• Maintain strict food safety and sanitizing procedures to uphold health standards and prevent contamination
• Assist with menu planning by suggesting new breakfast items or modifications based on ingredient availability and guest preferences
• Manage food handling responsibilities with precision, ensuring proper storage, portioning, and waste reduction
• Support high-volume food production during peak hours while maintaining attention to detail and cleanliness

Experience

• Previous dietary aide experience or background working in a dietary department is highly desirable
• Proven food service experience in a restaurant or catering environment, especially with breakfast or brunch menus
• Strong culinary experience with skills in grilling, braising, poaching (culinary technique), and general food preparation
• Familiarity with food safety management practices and sanitizing procedures in a commercial kitchen setting
• Demonstrated ability to operate various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Experience in fine dining or high-volume production environments is a plus
• Excellent knife skills, recipe adherence, and meal preparation expertise are essential for success in this role
