Breakfast Cook Part Time

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Breakfast Cook to join our team and work 2-4 shifts/week. Internships welcome to apply!

Breakfast service is from 6am-10am, consisting of a Buffet and A la Cart Menu.

Opportunity for extra gratuity from private events and meetings held at the Hotel.

This role involves providing exceptional food service, meal preparation, and culinary support. The ideal candidate will have an upbeat personality, be able to work well with FOH and other BOH staff members, have a strong background in food handling, menu planning, and kitchen operations, ensuring the delivery of nutritious and high-quality meals to our Guests. Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals according to Hilton Standards
• Assist with menu planning to accommodate preferences
• Handle food safely, adhering to all food safety regulations and standards
• Perform food preparation tasks including chopping, cooking, and plating dishes
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and dining areas
• Support catering services for special events or group functions; all banquet functions include automatic gratuity
• Use knife skills effectively for various food preparation tasks
• Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times
• Assist in inventory management and restocking supplies as needed

Experience

• Prior experience in line cooking is preferred
• Restaurant background is a plus
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques is essential
• Culinary experience including cooking, food service, and kitchen operations preferred
• Familiarity with the food industry standards for sanitation and safety regulations
• Skills in serving, catering, and food presentation are advantageous
