The Hampton Inn by Hilton - Pontiac is looking to add to our team! Join us as a Breakfast Host/Hostess and be the welcoming face that sets the tone for an exceptional guest experience! In this lively role, you will be the first point of contact for guests arriving for breakfast, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable from the moment they walk through the door. Schedule:

Enjoy your afternoons off! This part-time role requires early morning availability on weekends. The schedule is Friday-Sunday, 5:00 AM to 11:30 AM.

Duties

• Set up breakfast in a timely manner
• Distribute breakfast products to the guest in a courteous and timely manner
• Communicate with the guest in a courteous manner
• Close and clean up the breakfast area in a timely manner
• Assist the front desk: greet guests, answer questions, etc.
• Assist guest on any floor
• Restock breakfast area
• Perform light maintenance/custodial: change trash, maintain breakfast equipment, etc.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a host/hostess or in food service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a positive attitude are essential!
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently over the phone and in person.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices in food service environments.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tables, reservations, and guest requests efficiently.
• Demonstrated hospitality mindset with a focus on delivering outstanding guest services and building positive guest relations.

Pay: $15.00 - $15.25 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 19.5 per week
