About the role
A part-time breakfast service kitchen assistant role at Tolcarne (St Hilda's Collegiate School's Boarding residence). The successful applicant will be responsible for preparing and serving a cooked breakfast for students on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, before they head down to school. We are looking for a candidate who can show initiative, problem solve and has the ability to work unsupervised.
Key responsibilities
- Breakfast preparation, set up and service
- Restocking supplies
- Assisting the cooks
- Salad preparation
- Replenishing the lunch food items
- Assisting with hot lunch service at school on Wednesdays and Thursdays
- Complying with Health and Safety Standards
- Kitchen and dining room cleaning schedule to be followed daily
- Cleaning and organisation of the chillers/freezers
- Washing dishes
