Job Summary

Eddie's Restaurant is seeking a reliable and hardworking Breakfast Kitchen Assistant to support morning food preparation and daily kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will assist cooks with preparing breakfast ingredients, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, organizing supplies, and ensuring food is prepared safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist kitchen staff with daily breakfast preparation
• Wash, peel, chop, and portion ingredients as needed
• Prepare basic breakfast items according to recipes and instructions
• Organize ingredients, utensils, and kitchen supplies
• Maintain clean and sanitary food preparation areas
• Wash dishes, cookware, and kitchen equipment
• Restock ingredients and monitor supply levels
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures
• Assist with receiving and storing food deliveries
• Support cooks and other kitchen staff during busy breakfast periods

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen, restaurant, or food preparation experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene
• Ability to follow recipes and instructions
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Good time-management and organizational abilities
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift kitchen supplies
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
