Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service during breakfast and lunch hours
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems
• Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling and credit card payments
• Upsell menu items, including specialty drinks and desserts, to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards
• Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
• Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive experience
• Support beverage service with cocktail mixing, spirits knowledge, wine pairing recommendations, and drink presentation
• Use OpenTable for reservations management and coordinate seating arrangements seamlessly
• Maintain sanitation standards through proper food handling, sanitation practices, and adherence to health regulations

Requirements

• Previous food service experience in restaurants or hospitality environments is highly preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently with excellent time management skills
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and handling cash confidently
• Experience with beverage service including spirits, wine knowledge, cocktail preparation, and drink presentation is desirable
• Restaurant experience in fine dining or casual settings is advantageous
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly attitude to foster guest relations
• Flexibility to work during breakfast and lunch hours, including weekends or holidays as needed

Pay: $10.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 38.0 per week
