Breakfast Manager

Job Summary

Lula B's Breakfast, Brunch, and Bar is seeking an experienced Breakfast Manager to help lead daily front-of-house and breakfast service operations. This position will oversee morning service, support team performance, maintain excellent guest experiences, and help ensure the restaurant operates efficiently during busy breakfast and brunch periods.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily breakfast and brunch service from opening through closing.
• Lead, coach, and support front-of-house team members during service.
• Coordinate staffing and floor coverage based on business volume.
• Monitor guest service, food presentation, order accuracy, and overall dining experience.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and employee development.
• Handle guest concerns professionally and resolve service issues promptly.
• Coordinate closely with kitchen and bar teams to maintain smooth service.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate ordering or supply needs.
• Help control labor, food, and beverage costs while minimizing waste.
• Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, food-safety, and workplace standards are followed.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures and daily operational checklists.
• Communicate staffing, service, and operational needs to senior management.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant supervisory or management experience, preferably in breakfast, brunch, or high-volume dining.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of front-of-house restaurant operations and guest-service standards.
• Experience with scheduling, training, and team development.
• Comfortable handling guest concerns and making sound operational decisions.
• Basic understanding of inventory and labor-cost management.
• Ability to work mornings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
• Food-safety certification and responsible alcohol-service knowledge are a plus.

Lula B's Breakfast, Brunch, and Bar is a Downtown Omaha restaurant near the Capitol District, focused on breakfast, brunch, fresh food, and an extensive beverage program. The restaurant is located at 902 Dodge Street #101 and is owned and operated by Sunshine Enterprises, Inc.

Pay: $58,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
