Job Summary

The Chef's Hut is seeking a friendly, dependable, and service-oriented Breakfast Restaurant Associate to support daily restaurant operations and provide a welcoming dining experience. This role involves assisting guests, handling breakfast orders, supporting food preparation and service, maintaining clean work areas, and collaborating with team members to ensure smooth and efficient restaurant operations.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide courteous, professional customer service.
• Assist guests with seating, menus, and general restaurant questions.
• Take breakfast orders accurately and communicate special requests to the kitchen.
• Assist with preparing, assembling, plating, and serving breakfast menu items as needed.
• Serve beverages and deliver completed orders promptly.
• Check orders for accuracy, completeness, and proper presentation.
• Answer basic questions about menu items and available options.
• Communicate dietary requests and food allergy concerns to the appropriate team members.
• Support kitchen and front-of-house staff during busy breakfast periods.
• Clear and reset tables between guests.
• Maintain clean and organized dining areas, counters, service stations, and workspaces.
• Restock utensils, napkins, condiments, beverages, and other service supplies.
• Assist with dishwashing and routine cleaning duties when needed.
• Follow food handling, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
• Report customer concerns, order issues, and supply needs to supervisors.
• Assist with opening, closing, and daily restaurant preparation.
• Work cooperatively with coworkers to maintain efficient service.
• Perform other breakfast restaurant duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, breakfast service, food service, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
• Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced breakfast restaurant environment.
• Strong attention to detail and order accuracy.
• Willingness to learn menu items, restaurant procedures, and food safety practices.
• Ability to maintain cleanliness and follow workplace safety guidelines.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform hands-on service tasks throughout a shift.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
