Breakfast Restaurant Server

Job Summary

Original Pancake House is seeking a friendly, attentive, and customer-focused Breakfast Restaurant Server to provide excellent guest service and support daily breakfast and brunch operations. This role involves welcoming guests, taking orders, serving food and beverages, responding to customer requests, and maintaining a clean and inviting dining environment.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and assist with seating as needed.
• Present menus and answer questions about breakfast and brunch selections.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and enter them into the point-of-sale system.
• Communicate special requests and dietary concerns to kitchen staff.
• Serve pancakes, breakfast entrées, sides, and beverages promptly and courteously.
• Check orders for accuracy and proper presentation before serving.
• Monitor tables and respond promptly to guest requests.
• Provide attentive service throughout the dining experience.
• Process customer bills and payments accurately when required.
• Clear tables and reset dining areas for incoming guests.
• Maintain clean and organized tables, service stations, and work areas.
• Restock menus, utensils, napkins, condiments, and other service supplies.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff and coworkers to ensure timely order delivery.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
• Communicate guest feedback, complaints, and service issues to supervisors.
• Assist with opening, closing, and routine restaurant duties.
• Work cooperatively with the restaurant team during busy breakfast periods.
• Perform other serving and customer service duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant serving, hospitality, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
• Friendly, professional, and guest-focused attitude.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good attention to detail and order accuracy.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized in a busy restaurant.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn menu items and restaurant service procedures.
• Basic math skills and comfort handling customer payments when required.
• Commitment to cleanliness and food safety practices.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during a shift.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
