Breakfast Restaurant Worker

Job Summary

Eddie's Restaurant is seeking a friendly, dependable, and hardworking Breakfast Restaurant Worker to support daily restaurant operations and provide a welcoming dining experience. This role assists with guest service, breakfast food preparation and service, order handling, table maintenance, cleanliness, restocking, and general restaurant support.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional service.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate special requests.
• Assist with preparing and serving breakfast and brunch menu items, sides, and beverages.
• Support food preparation, portioning, plating, packaging, and order assembly as needed.
• Ensure food and beverage orders are accurate, complete, and properly presented.
• Deliver orders promptly and courteously.
• Answer guest questions about menu items, ingredients, beverages, and daily offerings.
• Assist guests with basic menu selections and communicate dietary requests when needed.
• Assist with point-of-sale transactions and customer payments as required.
• Maintain clean and organized dining areas, counters, service stations, and workspaces.
• Clear, clean, and reset tables to maintain a neat and welcoming restaurant environment.
• Restock food ingredients, beverages, utensils, napkins, containers, and other restaurant supplies.
• Assist kitchen and front-of-house team members during busy breakfast service periods.
• Follow food handling, sanitation, cleanliness, and workplace safety procedures.
• Handle food, beverages, equipment, and restaurant supplies carefully and responsibly.
• Communicate guest concerns, supply needs, and service issues to supervisors.
• Assist with opening, closing, cleaning, and general restaurant duties.
• Help maintain consistent food quality, presentation, order accuracy, and service standards.
• Support coworkers and contribute to efficient restaurant operations throughout each shift.
• Perform other breakfast restaurant service and support duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous breakfast restaurant, restaurant, food service, hospitality, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
• Friendly, professional, and guest-focused attitude.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Good attention to detail and order accuracy.
• Willingness to learn food preparation and restaurant service procedures.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
