Breakfast Server

Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail. This role offers an opportunity to work in a vibrant environment where guest satisfaction is our top priority. Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided to ensure you excel in your responsibilities.

Duties

• Welcome guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special requests are noted and fulfilled
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities
• Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are consistently maintained
• Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, supporting kitchen staff when required
• Manage guest payments efficiently and accurately using the POS system
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, tables, and service stations
• Provide excellent guest services by addressing any questions or concerns promptly and courteously
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is advantageous but not mandatory
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling
• Basic maths skills for processing transactions accurately
• Experience with food preparation or kitchen operations is a plus
• Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities
• Ability to deliver outstanding guest services with a friendly demeanour
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
• A proactive attitude towards upselling menu items to enhance the guest experience
