Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly as they arrive, providing attentive and friendly service throughout their breakfast experience
• Take accurate orders using POS systems ensuring proper processing of sales transactions
• Serve food and beverages efficiently, including coffee, cocktails, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic drinks, with an emphasis on upselling to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
• Assist in food preparation and presentation to ensure quality standards are met for all breakfast offerings
• Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely service and address guest needs promptly in a fine dining or casual setting

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience in restaurants or hospitality environments is highly preferred, especially with breakfast or brunch service
• Familiarity with POS systems
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations professionally
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to multitask efficiently while managing time effectively during busy morning hours
• Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and managing cash handling duties
• Experience with beverage service including wine knowledge, spirits, cocktail preparation, and drink presentation is desirable
• Excellent communication skills paired with a friendly demeanor to foster guest relations and team collaboration

Pay: $13.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 35.0 per week
