Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly as they arrive and assist with seating arrangements using OpenTable or similar reservation systems
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, utilizing POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently
• Serve breakfast items, beverages, and specialty drinks with professionalism, including coffee, juice, cocktails, and spirits experience when applicable
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are maintained throughout service, including proper food handling and cleanliness practices
• Process cash and credit card transactions accurately while managing POS systems and handling cash with integrity
• Support team members by bussing tables, resetting stations, and assisting with food preparation or setup as needed

Experience

• Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred, especially in breakfast or fine dining environments
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms is highly desirable
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle guest relations effectively
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, beverage service, and cocktail preparation enhances your ability to upsell and serve confidently
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy morning hours
• Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities
• Experience in food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and food industry regulations is a plus
