Duties

• Greet guests warmly and promptly upon arrival, creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere
• Take accurate breakfast orders, offering menu recommendations and upselling specials to enhance guest satisfaction
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
• Ensure food safety standards are met by handling food properly and adhering to sanitation protocols
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks to support kitchen operations during busy periods
• Clear tables promptly, ensuring the dining area remains tidy and welcoming throughout service
• Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently while providing attentive guest service

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or food industry preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a positive attitude are key!
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper serving techniques
• Ability to perform basic math for handling bills, payments, and tips accurately
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
• Experience with food preparation or kitchen work is a plus, demonstrating versatility in supporting restaurant operations
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy breakfast hours
• A genuine passion for delivering outstanding guest services and creating memorable experiences
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest satisfaction and restaurant revenue

Pay: From £12.71 per hour
