Duties

• Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of breakfast offerings.
• Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted and fulfilled.
• Serve food and beverages promptly, including coffee, cocktails, wine, and specialty drinks, demonstrating cocktail and spirits experience.
• Upsell menu items and beverage options to enhance guest experiences while increasing sales revenue.
• Process cash and credit transactions efficiently, handling cash handling and cashiering responsibilities with precision.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, supporting food handling and food industry best practices.
• Assist with guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly, fostering a welcoming environment for all guests.
• Support opening or closing duties as needed, including setting up stations or cleaning work areas in compliance with sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is advantageous.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy breakfast hours.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and managing cash handling duties.
• Beverage knowledge including wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and drink service techniques.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and guest satisfaction.

Pay: $22.53 - $27.13 per hour
