Breakfast Service Coordinator

Job Summary

The Crepery is seeking a Breakfast Service Coordinator to support daily breakfast operations and coordinate front-of-house and kitchen service activities. This role helps organize staff workflows, monitor order accuracy, maintain service standards, coordinate supplies, and ensure guests receive friendly and efficient service during busy breakfast periods.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily breakfast service and restaurant opening activities.
• Support communication between kitchen staff, servers, hosts, and management.
• Assist with staff assignments and workflow coordination during busy periods.
• Monitor customer orders to help ensure accuracy and timely service.
• Help maintain consistent hospitality and customer service standards.
• Respond to routine guest questions and coordinate solutions to service concerns.
• Assist with inventory tracking and replenishment of breakfast ingredients and service supplies.
• Support receiving activities and report shortages or delivery discrepancies.
• Maintain clean, organized dining areas, service stations, and workspaces.
• Coordinate table readiness, seating flow, and service preparation as needed.
• Maintain accurate shift notes, service records, and operational documentation.
• Assist with employee onboarding, training coordination, and team communication.
• Identify workflow challenges and suggest practical service improvements.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, cash-handling, and workplace safety procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous restaurant, breakfast service, hospitality, or customer service experience is an asset.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Basic computer, POS, and recordkeeping proficiency.
• Ability to coordinate multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional, dependable, and team-oriented.
• Availability for morning shifts and weekends as required.

Preferred Skills

• Experience coordinating breakfast or café operations.
• Familiarity with POS, scheduling, and inventory systems.
• Understanding of food service workflows and guest service standards.
