Job Summary

Merritt's Country Cafe is seeking a dependable and organized Morning Operations Supervisor to oversee morning restaurant activities, coordinate staff, and ensure smooth daily operations. The ideal candidate will maintain service quality, support food preparation and customer service teams, and help create a welcoming environment for guests during busy breakfast hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily morning restaurant operations and opening procedures
• Coordinate staff assignments, shift schedules, and workflow
• Support kitchen and front-of-house teams during breakfast service
• Ensure food quality, order accuracy, and timely service
• Monitor cleanliness and maintain food safety standards
• Assist with inventory checks and restocking essential supplies
• Address customer concerns and resolve service issues professionally
• Train new employees on operating procedures and service expectations
• Monitor staff performance and report operational issues to management
• Ensure equipment, dining areas, and workstations are ready for service

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, hospitality, or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong leadership and team-coordination skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and restaurant procedures
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, punctual, and comfortable with early morning shifts

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
