Buffalo Cornbread is looking for an experienced Breakfast & Lunch Line Cook to join our kitchen team. Full-time and part-time positions are available.

We are looking for someone who is dependable, organized, works with urgency, and has hands-on experience cooking breakfast in a high-volume commercial kitchen.

Schedule

Hours: 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM daily

Full-time and part-time schedules are available. Applicants must have reliable availability for scheduled shifts, including weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook breakfast and lunch menu items quickly and consistently
• Must be experienced cooking eggs to order, including over-easy, over-medium, over-hard, scrambled, sunny-side-up, and other common preparations
• Prepare breakfast meats, pancakes, waffles, breakfast sandwiches, and other breakfast items
• Work efficiently on a flat-top grill and commercial cooking equipment
• Handle multiple orders simultaneously during high-volume breakfast and lunch rushes
• Follow Buffalo Cornbread recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines
• Maintain proper food temperatures and follow food-safety and sanitation procedures
• Complete daily prep and maintain a clean, organized workstation
• Communicate effectively with other cooks, servers, and management
• Assist with opening, stocking, cleaning, and kitchen closing duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous breakfast cooking experience in a high-volume commercial kitchen is required
• Strong egg-cooking skills are required
• Experience working a flat-top grill
• Ability to work quickly while maintaining food quality and consistency
• Ability to read tickets and manage several orders at the same time
• Dependable and punctual
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Must follow all food-safety and sanitation standards

What We're Looking For

We need cooks who understand that breakfast service moves fast. The right candidate can keep the grill organized, cook eggs correctly, manage multiple tickets, communicate with the kitchen team, and consistently put out quality food even during a busy rush.

Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 45.0 per week

Work Location: In person
