Brick Paver

About the role

TKL Contractors is seeking an experienced Brick Paver to join our team.

This role is central to delivering high-quality hardscaping and paving projects that enhance both residential and commercial properties across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Pave to a plan using all types of pavers.

• Prepare and level base materials, including sand and gravel, to ensure proper drainage and structural integrity

• Cut and shape pavers using appropriate tools to fit specific design requirements

• Collaborate with other team members to ensure projects progress efficiently

• Maintain tools and equipment in good working order and report any damage or defects

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Brick Paver or similar masonry role within the building trades industry

• Sound knowledge of paver laying techniques, including patterns, jointing and bedding methods

• Competency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications

• Ability to work accurately and maintain high standards of workmanship

• Physical fitness and capability to perform manual labour in all weather conditions.

• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• Current manual driver's licence

• Experience with both residential and commercial paving projects (advantageous)
