About Us Exquisite Brushwork is an upcoming residential property improvement business launching soon across London. We are currently building a reliable network of skilled, self-employed tradespeople to onboard for upcoming high-end domestic projects.

The Opportunity We are seeking experienced self-employed bricklayers to join our trade roster. This is an initial outreach to review credentials, portfolios, and availability so we can assign work directly as projects go live.

Key Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 5 years professional residential bricklaying and masonry experience.
• Status: Genuine self-employed status (registered sole trader / UTR required).
• Equipment: Own reliable van and complete set of hand tools (trowels, brick hammer, line & blocks, profile clamps, level kit, mixing equipment).
• Insurance: Valid Public Liability Insurance (minimum £1m cover).
• Credentials: Blue CSCS card desirable (NVQ Level 2 in Trowel Occupations/Bricklaying desirable).
• References: 2 professional trade or client references.
• Standards: Neat gauge work, clean pointing, accurate setting out, and a respectful, tidy manner on residential sites.
• Substitution: Right of substitution applies, subject to replacement personnel meeting our qualification and quality standards.

Scope of Work

• High-standard domestic brickwork and blockwork (garden walls, small extensions, structural openings, retaining walls, alterative brick repairs/repointing).
• Damp-proof course (DPC) installation, cavity wall construction, and lintel placement.
• Structural alterations, tooth-in repairs, and matching existing face brickwork on residential properties.
• Working cleanly, managing mortar waste, and leaving domestic sites safe and tidy.
