We’re looking for an experienced bricklayer to join our team on residential renovation and extension projects across South Wales.

You’ll carry out bricklaying and blockwork, alongside rip-outs, wall removals and general building work between bricklaying stages. This role suits someone who enjoys varied work and is happy to help keep the whole project moving.

Main duties

• Bricklaying and blockwork for extensions and alterations.
• Forming and altering door and window openings.
• Making good masonry following structural alterations.
• Stripping out kitchens, bathrooms and other areas ready for renovation.
• Assisting with controlled wall removals, knock-throughs and steel installations, following project drawings and site instructions.
• Helping with general building tasks, material handling and site clearance.
• Working alongside carpenters and other trades to maintain progress.
• Keeping work areas tidy and maintaining a high standard of workmanship.

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience in bricklaying and blockwork.
• Experience on domestic renovations or extensions.
• A practical approach and willingness to carry out work beyond bricklaying.
• Ability to read drawings and follow instructions.
• Reliable attendance, good timekeeping and care when working in customers’ homes.
• Full driving licence and ability to travel between sites.
• Relevant trade qualifications preferred.

The role

We specialise in kitchen knock-throughs, structural alterations, renovations and extensions. We need someone who can take responsibility for the masonry work and support the team through other stages of each project.

Pay: Dependent on experience and agreed employment arrangements.
Location: Various sites across South Wales.
