Job Overview

We are seeking skilled and motivated CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) Bricklayers to join our dynamic team in Horsham. Responsibilities

• Lay bricks, blocks, and other masonry units accurately according to detailed plans and specifications
• Prepare mortar mixes using hand tools and power tools to ensure proper adhesion and finish quality
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans to execute masonry work effectively
• Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and masonry equipment safely and efficiently
• Assist with carpentry, roofing, or welding tasks as needed to support overall project progress
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times
• Collaborate with team members and site managers to meet project deadlines and quality standards

Experience

• Proven experience in bricklaying, masonry, or related construction roles with a strong portfolio of completed projects
• Familiarity with hand tools such as trowels, chisels, levels, and hammers
• Ability to operate power tools including drills, saws, mixers, and welding equipment where applicable
• Knowledge of carpentry techniques relevant to masonry projects is a plus
• Experience working on roofing or welding tasks is advantageous but not essential
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations within construction environments
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and follow detailed instructions accurately
