Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Bricklayer/Builder to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining structures using bricks, blocks, and other masonry materials. Duties

• Lay bricks, blocks, and stones with precision to create walls, facades, and other structural elements
• Prepare surfaces and foundations to ensure proper adhesion and stability
• Mix mortar and other materials accurately for optimal bonding strength
• Use hand tools such as trowels, hammers, chisels, and levels to execute detailed masonry work
• Operate power tools including drills, saws, and grinders safely and efficiently
• Assist with carpentry tasks related to formwork or structural framing when needed
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards
• Support roofing tasks or welding activities as required for specific projects

Requirements

• Proven experience in bricklaying, masonry, or general construction work
• Proficiency with hand tools like trowels, hammers, chisels, and levels
• Ability to operate power tools such as drills, saws, grinders safely
• Knowledge of carpentry techniques relevant to construction projects
• Familiarity with roofing procedures and welding processes is a plus
• Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols

Ideal candidates will possess a solid understanding of masonry principles and demonstrate versatility across related trades. Certification in relevant skills or prior experience working with roofing or welding can enhance your application. Pay: £18.00-£20.00 per hour
