Bricklayer/General Builder

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Bricklayer/General Builder to join our dynamic construction team.

All work is residential and varied so not just side bashing. most work would include double & single story extensions, garage & other conversions & full house renovations.

In this role, you will be responsible for executing a variety of building tasks, including bricklaying, masonry, concreting, foundations, general building. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Responsibilities

• Lay bricks, blocks, and stones with precision to create durable walls, facades, and structures according to project specifications.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment safely and efficiently to complete various building tasks.
• Perform masonry work including mixing mortar, cutting bricks or stones, and installing structural elements.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure safety standards are maintained on-site and projects are completed on time.

Requirements

• Proven experience in bricklaying, masonry, or general building roles with a strong understanding of construction processes.
• Proficiency in using hand tools such as trowels, hammers, chisels, and levels.
• Familiarity with power tools including drills, saws, grinders, etc.
• Strong physical stamina with the ability to stand, lift heavy materials, and work at heights when necessary.

Candidates should demonstrate excellent attention to detail, safety awareness, and a proactive attitude toward teamwork. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about construction who want to develop their skills across multiple trades while contributing to high-quality building projects every day.

This role can be on a self employed or employed basis depending on what works best.

Pay: £35,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
