Are you a technically strong engineer who can bridge cultures, teams, and technologies?

We are looking for an experienced Bridge Engineer to lead and coordinate software delivery between customers and stakeholders in Japan, and development teams across Malaysia and India. This role combines technical leadership, project coordination, and hands-on engineering in a highly collaborative international environment.

You will be responsible for ensuring successful delivery of complex enterprise and telecom solutions while driving communication, quality, schedule management, and technical excellence across geographically distributed teams.

What You'll Do

Technical & Delivery Leadership

· Serve as the primary bridge between Japanese stakeholders and offshore engineering teams in India and Malaysia

· Drive project delivery across design, development, testing, release, and operational support

· Coordinate requirements, priorities, technical discussions, and issue resolution across multiple teams

· Monitor schedules, risks, dependencies, and resource allocation to ensure successful project execution

· Lead technical reviews, architecture discussions, effort estimations, and feasibility assessments

Hands-On Engineering

· Contribute directly to development, troubleshooting, debugging, and technical investigations when required

· Support maintenance activities, enhancements, and production issue resolution

· Define and promote engineering best practices, coding standards, and quality processes

· Participate in design, code reviews, testing, automation, and operational improvements

Team Leadership

· Mentor engineers and foster effective collaboration across multicultural teams

· Provide technical guidance and coaching to developers and technical leads

· Communicate project status, delivery forecasts, risks, and mitigation plans to stakeholders

Required Qualifications

Must-Have

· Japanese language proficiency at JLPT N1 level or above

· Fluent English communication skills

· Strong software development experience using Java and Linux

· Experience coordinating technical delivery across onsite and offshore teams

· Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills

· Ability to manage schedules, priorities, issue resolution, and project risks
