Bridge Foreman

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor to lead our construction team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a comprehensive understanding of construction processes, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively. As a Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations on-site, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction workers and subcontractors.
• Interpret blueprints and project specifications to ensure accurate execution of work.
• Manage project budgets and timelines, ensuring efficient use of resources.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and enforce safety standards in accordance with OSHA regulations.
• Utilize construction estimating techniques to prepare cost estimates for projects.
• Collaborate with project managers to facilitate communication between stakeholders and address any issues that arise during construction.
• Train and mentor team members on best practices in construction techniques and safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and any incidents that occur on-site.

Skills

• Strong supervisory skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team.
• Competence in blueprint reading and interpretation for effective project execution.
• Knowledge of Bluebeam for document management and collaboration.
• Understanding of OSHA regulations to ensure workplace safety compliance.
• Familiarity with using an ohmmeter for electrical testing as needed on-site.
