PAY, SCHEDULE & BENEFITS

$27–$32/hour, based on verified experience and demonstrated skills | Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM

  • 40-hour standard workweek; two 15-minute paid breaks and one 30-minute unpaid lunch

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operate the semi-automated bridge saw safely, accurately and efficiently
  • Review production drawings, layouts and measurements before beginning fabrication

  • Inspect slabs before cutting for cracks, fissures, defects and areas requiring special handling
  • Properly position, secure and support slabs before making cuts
  • Measure and verify each piece to ensure dimensional accuracy
  • Cut countertop pieces, islands, vanities, backsplashes and other stone components according to production requirements
  • Coordinate with CNC operators, polishers and other fabrication personnel to maintain proper production flow

  • Perform basic bridge saw inspections and routine operator maintenance
  • Maintain a clean, organized and safe bridge saw work area

  • Work closely with the fabrication lead, measurement team and production personnel to ensure job information is transferred accurately, transparently and completely

PERFORMANCE, QUALITY & SAFETY

Bridge Saw Cutters are expected to maintain strong production efficiency while consistently producing accurate, fabrication-ready stone pieces.

Production expectations will depend on project complexity, material type, slab condition and fabrication requirements. Speed is important, but accuracy, material protection and safety always come first.

Safety and quality are non-negotiable. We follow applicable OSHA safety requirements, established stone-handling procedures and required PPE. Bridge Saw Cutters must use proper judgment, equipment and team-handling methods to prevent personal injury, equipment damage and material breakage.

INTERVIEW PROCESS

Qualified candidates will complete a telephone interview followed by an in-person interview at our West Allis facility, where bridge saw experience, measurement knowledge, stone-handling practices and fabrication skills may be evaluated.

Candidates may be asked to demonstrate their ability to:

  • Read a countertop shop drawing or cut sheet
  • Verify dimensions
  • Explain slab positioning and cutting sequence
  • Identify potential fabrication risks
  • Demonstrate safe bridge saw and material-handling practices

All new hires must complete required employment eligibility verification.
