  • Collaborate closely alongside the Broadcast Network Engineer to manage, configure, and monitor the facility's SMPTE ST 2110 IP media ecosystem.
  • Configure and troubleshoot ST 2110 endpoints, gateways, video/audio edge devices, and NMOS connection services.
  • Assist with PTP timecode synchronization monitoring and redundancy path checks across production chains.
  • Support digital IP audio transport protocols (AES67, Dante) integrated across studio audio mixing desks, intercoms, and routers.
  • Support baseband SDI and MADI facilities used widely across the facility to supplement the IP and ST 2110 infrastructure.
  • Perform physical installation, cabling, termination, and commissioning of new broadcast hardware and signal processing gear.
  • Maintain specialist equipment for video and audio production, broadcast, edit and interactive media.

About you

  • Experience in broadcast engineering, television production or a similar technical environment.
  • Strong knowledge of broadcast video and audio systems.
  • Experience with SDI and/or IP-based broadcast infrastructure.
  • An understanding of SMPTE ST 2110, NMOS, PTP, AES67 and Dante would be highly valued.

  • A calm, practical approach when supporting live events and time-critical production environments.
  • Ability to build strong partnerships with all key stakeholders including management and staff.
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge of the industry, the Company, your marketplace, and our competition.
