Broadcast Engineering Intern

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Broadcast Engineers during equipment installation and system setup.
• Support live production activities during rigging, production, and de-rigging.
• Learn to configure and operate broadcast equipment under supervision.
• Assist in cable laying, routing, dressing, and equipment connections.
• Help maintain broadcast equipment according to company SOPs.
• Support loading, unloading, packing, and inventory management of equipment.
• Report equipment issues to senior engineers.
• Follow all safety procedures during installations and live events.
• Participate in preventive maintenance activities.
• Maintain proper housekeeping of engineering equipment and work areas.

Candidates should possess basic understanding of:

• Electronics and Electrical Fundamentals
• Audio & Video Signal Basics
• Computer Hardware & Networking Fundamentals
• IP Networking Concepts (Basic)
• Windows Operating System
• Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Basic troubleshooting approach

Please note this is not a desk job. You will be working on very end broadcast equipment.

This role converts into a full time position.
