Important note

• This role follows the Australian public holiday. You are required to work on Malaysian public holiday and you will be compensated for these days with additional annual leave.
• This is fully onsite role in KL Eco City.
• Your working hours starts between 5.00 am to 9.00 am and ends between 2.00 pm to 6.00 pm.

Overview

Our client is an award-winning Australian online financial services firm seeking sharp, ambitious, and career-driven professionals to join our client support team.

This is not a standard call center or script-reading customer service role. As a Broking Representative, you will act as a core support link for retail clients and financial advisers across leading online share trading platforms. You will investigate complex client queries, explain financial concepts clearly, and guide clients through platform operations, client portfolios, and market processes.

Responsibilities:

• Multichannel Client Support: Resolve client requests via incoming calls, emails (Zendesk), and live chats regarding account management, share transfers, trading orders, portfolio valuations, tax reporting, and corporate actions.
• Problem Solving & Analysis: Research, investigate, and diagnose client issues behind the scenes to deliver accurate, high-level explanations without relying on fixed scripts.
• Platform Guidance: Help high-net-worth and retail clients navigate online trading and desktop platforms, reset credentials, and retrieve tax or portfolio reports.
• Market Knowledge: Stay up to date with product offerings, briefings, and stock exchange updates (ASX) to effectively assist clients.
• Process Escalations: Collaborate with internal operational teams to escalate higher-level inquiries and manage complaints effectively.

Requirements:

• Education: Recognized Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Management, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional background).
• Experience: 1–2+ years of working experience preferred. Individuals with background in Finance, Fintech, Crypto, Trading, or Contact Centers are welcome to apply.
• Language Proficiency: Excellent command of written and spoken English with a clear, neutral accent for effortless client communications.
• Financial Aptitude: Strong interest in finance, stock markets, and investing. Prior trading experience or familiarity with equity markets is a major advantage.
• Core Competencies: Ability to think on your feet, handle concurrent tasks (e.g., live chats/calls), and learn new technical systems independently.
• Work Location & Mobility: Must be willing to work on-site at KL Eco City.
