What they need
- Oversee and support daily customs brokerage operations, ensuring the timely processing of import and export shipments.
- Supervise brokerage staff and guide them to ensure efficient workflow and compliance with company standards.
- Coordinate with clients, shipping lines, freight forwarders, government agencies, and other stakeholders regarding shipment requirements and customs clearance.
- Ensure compliance with Bureau of Customs regulations, trade laws, and company policies.
- Review and verify import/export documents, customs declarations, permits, and supporting documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Monitor shipment status and resolve operational issues, delays, or discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Prepare operational reports, performance updates, and management reports as required.
- Assist in implementing process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Support the Brokerage Manager in achieving departmental goals, service targets, and business objectives.
- Stay updated on customs regulations, tariff updates, and industry developments to ensure regulatory compliance.
