Bruceton Ag Services – Truck Driver

Reporting Relationship: General Manager

Basic Function:

A driver is primarily responsible for delivering feed, fertilizer, etc. in a safe and efficient manner to various locations as assigned by his/her manager.

Essential Functions:

1. Perform pre and post trip visual inspections of vehicle to determine road worthiness;

2. Reads gauges or meters and records quantity loaded

3. Records amount delivered and issues ticket to customer.

4. Complete required paperwork such as shipping papers, hours of duty reports, etc.

5. Have working knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations regarding operating a

commercial motor vehicle, and how to respond to an emergency

Qualifications:

1. 21 years of age; and

2. Commercial driver's license

3. Must be able to lift/carry up to 75 lbs.

4. Must be able to climb up to 15 ft.

Perform such similar, comparable, or related duties as may be required or assigned.
