Brunch Chef - full time

We're hiring an organised, tidy, efficient and reliable brunch chef to join our team.

We're after a dedicated and reliable chef who's into preparing fresh, colourful and unique brunch dishes. Experience in the brunch industry is not necessary, although experience in a busy, fast-paced kitchen and a desire to learn fast from our longstanding chef is essential. You will be working closely alongside our head chef to learn the elements of running a brunch kitchen to a high standard.

The role is perfect for chefs with some experience of a busy kitchen, who want to advance in their career. Organisation, tidiness and efficiency are key parts of the role.

What we're looking for:

A great work ethic and calm manner are non-negotiables for us - our team culture is everything and we want someone to fit right in.

Reliability to learn the runnings the kitchen alongside the head chef to the established high standard

Efficiency and organisation are key to this role

Familiarity with food safety and sanitation regulations.

Availability to work both weekdays and weekends is essential, with set weekdays off

approx 40 hrs per week, from £14 per hour + tips

We are Fika, an established brunch brand that started in Oakham and now has 2 sites, one in Stamford too. We are passionate about brunch, a relatively new concept in the world of dining but one that has gained huge momentum over the last 10 years. We offer what we believe to be the 3 core elements of a great brunch cafe: food, coffee and atmosphere. We strive to push the boundaries of taste, quality, and presentation with our offering, all served in an aesthetic space with great music, by lively and friendly staff.
