Brunch Dining Attendant

Job Summary

Black Walnut Kitchen & Bar is seeking a friendly, attentive, and customer-focused Brunch Dining Attendant to support dining room operations and provide excellent service during brunch hours. The ideal candidate will help guests feel welcome, maintain clean and organized dining areas, and coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure an enjoyable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and assist with seating and dining room arrangements
• Provide menus and answer questions about brunch dishes and beverages
• Communicate guest requests and dietary preferences to the appropriate staff
• Assist servers with delivering food and beverages when needed
• Clear, clean, and reset tables promptly between guests
• Maintain clean and organized dining areas throughout each shift
• Replenish napkins, utensils, condiments, and other dining supplies
• Monitor dining areas to ensure guests have a comfortable experience
• Coordinate with kitchen staff and servers to support timely service
• Assist with managing guest flow during busy brunch periods
• Respond professionally to routine guest questions and concerns
• Follow restaurant cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety procedures
• Support opening, closing, and side-work responsibilities
• Report maintenance concerns or supply shortages to supervisors

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred
• Friendly and professional communication skills
• Strong customer service and interpersonal abilities
• Excellent attention to detail and cleanliness
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dining environment
• Strong teamwork and organizational skills
• Ability to follow restaurant procedures and service standards
• Flexibility to work brunch shifts, including weekends when required
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
