Brunch Floor Supervisor

Job Summary

Parker & Quinn is seeking a dependable and customer-focused Brunch Floor Supervisor to oversee daily brunch service and support smooth restaurant operations. The successful candidate will supervise front-of-house staff, coordinate table assignments, monitor service quality, and ensure guests enjoy a welcoming and efficient dining experience. This role requires strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily brunch floor operations and coordinate front-of-house activities.
• Assign sections and responsibilities to servers, hosts, and support staff.
• Monitor table turnover, seating arrangements, and guest wait times.
• Ensure prompt, courteous, and professional customer service.
• Communicate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders and service timing.
• Assist with staff training, shift briefings, and performance feedback.
• Address guest questions, complaints, and special requests professionally.
• Monitor dining room cleanliness, table presentation, and service standards.
• Help manage reservations, walk-in guests, and special dining arrangements.
• Support opening and closing procedures, including shift checklists.
• Report staffing needs, service issues, and operational concerns to management.
• Follow restaurant policies and applicable food safety and workplace standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in restaurant service, hospitality, or floor supervision.
• Strong leadership and team coordination abilities.
• Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks during busy brunch periods.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to remain professional under pressure.
• Flexible availability for mornings, weekends, holidays, and peak dining hours as needed.

Preferred Skills

• Experience supervising servers, hosts, or other front-of-house employees.
• Familiarity with restaurant reservation systems and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
• Understanding of table management and dining room workflow.
• Ability to resolve guest concerns and support service recovery.
• Knowledge of brunch menus, food service procedures, and hospitality standards.

Work Environment

This position operates in a restaurant dining room during brunch and other scheduled service periods. The role involves frequent communication with guests and employees, extended periods of standing and walking, and working in a fast-paced environment. Weekend and holiday shifts may be required.
