BRUSH PAINTER (EXCEPT CONSTRUCTION)

Roles & Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities

Prepare walls, ceilings, concrete, metal and other construction surfaces for painting by cleaning, scraping and sanding.

Apply primer, paint, protective coatings and finishing materials using brushes, rollers or spray equipment.

Mix and prepare paints, thinners and other coating materials according to project requirements.

Repair minor cracks, holes and surface imperfections before painting.

Carry out internal and external painting works at construction sites.

Perform touch-up and repainting works to ensure proper coverage and finishing quality.

Use and maintain painting tools, equipment and materials in proper working condition.

Follow site safety requirements, Risk Assessment, Safe Work Procedures and use the required PPE.

Maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping at the work area.

Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in painting works.

Physically fit and able to work in a construction site environment.

Able to read construction drawings and follow work instructions.

Familiar with workplace safety practices.

Willing to work outdoors and in a team environment.
