PLEASE NOTE:

Hybrid – 2–3 days/week, B2B collaboration, 12-month project.

Responsibilities:

• Perform source-to-target data mapping across multiple banking domains
• Analyse legacy banking systems and define field-level transformation, derivation, and lookup rules
• Facilitate workshops with business SMEs, product owners, and core banking vendors
• Validate mapping logic and support the formal sign-off process
• Ensure mapping coverage for regulatory and compliance data
• Conduct data profiling and quality assessments
• Identify data gaps, orphan records, and cleansing requirements
• Define remediation strategies for data-quality issues
• Prepare mapping designs and maintain detailed mapping documentation
• Define reconciliation rules to ensure data completeness and transformation accuracy
• Support financial reconciliation activities
• Establish loading sequences and transformation dependencies
• Support cutover planning, migration dry runs, and go-live activities
• Monitor mapping progress and prepare status reports
• Optionally write SQL transformations and configure the Data Migration Tool.

Tools / Software Knowledge & Competencies:

• Good understanding of banking products, processes, and data
• Previous experience with banking data migration or transformation projects
• Experience with source-to-target data mapping
• Ability to define transformation, derivation, validation, and lookup rules
• Understanding of data-quality, cleansing, and reconciliation processes
• Knowledge of basic data concepts, including primary keys, foreign keys, reference data, and master data
• Ability to analyse edge cases and exceptions together with clients
• Experience working with mapping sheets and migration documentation
• SQL knowledge is optional but considered a strong advantage
• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance data is an advantage
• Experience with core banking migrations or data-migration tools is a plus.

Education & Soft Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Clear communication and stakeholder-management abilities
• Confidence in facilitating workshops with business and technical participants
• Attention to detail and focus on data accuracy
• Ability to explain complex mapping rules clearly
• Strong documentation and organisational skills
• Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams
• Good command of English.
