BSP Engineer

📌 Position Overview

We are seeking highly motivated Software Engineers to join our platform team, focusing on Board Support Package (BSP), Modem integration, or Device Driver development. The ideal candidate will work closely with hardware, firmware, and system teams to enable nextgeneration devices across smartphones, IoT, and embedded systems.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

• Develop, port, and optimize BSP components (bootloader, kernel, HAL) for Qualcommbased platforms.
• Design and implement device drivers for peripherals (such as: camera, audio, display, connectivity, sensors).
• Integrate and validate modem software stacks (LTE/5G, VoLTE, IMS) with system software.
• Debug and resolve low-level issues across kernel, drivers, and hardware interfaces.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to bring up new boards and ensure stable system operation.
• Contribute to performance tuning, power optimization, and reliability improvements.
• Maintain documentation and support cross-functional teams during product development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming and embedded systems development.
• Solid understanding of Linux/Android kernel internals and BSP frameworks.
• Experience with device driver development (e.g., I2C, SPI, UART, USB).
• Familiarity with Qualcomm modem software stack and 3GPP standards is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with debugging tools (JTAG, GDB, trace analyzers).
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.

🌟 Preferred Skills

• Experience with MediaTek and/or Qualcomm Snapdragon platforms.
• Exposure to IoT or embedded device development.
• Knowledge of power management, memory management, and performance profiling.
• Familiarity with secure boot, TEE, and platform security features.
• Hands-on experience with Qualcomm development tools.
• Contributions to Linux kernel or open-source BSP projects
