About the role

Working closely with families and partners, you will empower parents to make informed decisions, strengthen family wellbeing, and promote self-determination.

About You

You build strong, trusting relationships through yarning, deep listening, and a strengths-based approach that empowers families to make decisions for themselves and their children. You support parents to strengthen their skills, connect with culture, build support networks, and access the services they need to thrive. Confident in working collaboratively with families, community, health services, and key partners, you advocate for cultural safety, challenge barriers and racism, and help families move towards strength, hope, and resilience while keeping the wellbeing of babies and families at the center of your practice.
