Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled, safety-minded Bucket Operator / Climber to join our team. If you are hands-on, a self-starter, and take pride in safe, efficient tree care, we’d love to speak with you.

This role involves a mix of aerial work, climbing, ground operations, and off-season snow removal to ensure steady, year-round work opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Safe operation of bucket trucks and climbing equipment for tree trimming, limb removal, and full tree removals.
• Perform ground service operations, equipment setup, and complete site debris cleanup.
• Safely operate brush chippers, chainsaws, and auxiliary power equipment.
• Conduct basic routine maintenance on assigned trucks, saws, and gear.
• Assist with winter snow plowing, clearing, and equipment winterization as needed.
• Adhere strictly to industry safety standards and OSHA/ANSI safety protocols.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 2+ years of hands-on bucket operation or 2+ years of professional production climbing experience.
• Equipment Proficiency: Proven experience operating chainsaws, power tools, and tree care machinery.
• Physical & Medical: Must be able to pass a DOT physical and pre-employment drug screening.
• Work Ethic: Reliable, flexible, safety-oriented, and eager to work as part of a collaborative crew.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Haves)

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL - Class A or B).
• Massachusetts Hoisting License.
• Formal Arborist experience or ISA certifications.
• General landscaping or equipment operation background.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay Range: $25.00 – $45.00/hour (starting pay heavily tied to years of climbing/bucket experience and active licenses like CDL/Hoisting).
• Schedule Options: Flexible hours based on crew availability.
• Typical shifts: 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday.
• Weekend shifts available as needed.
