Budget Manager

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Budget & Reporting Manager to join a well-established, internationally operating company within the logistics and supply chain industry.

The successful candidate will play a key role in managing budgeting, financial planning, performance analysis, and management reporting processes, while providing strategic financial insights to support business decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 7–10 years of professional experience in budgeting, financial reporting, financial planning, and analysis, preferably including managerial responsibilities.
• Proven experience in managing annual budgets, financial forecasts, and budget control processes.
• Strong knowledge of financial statements, profitability analysis, cost management, and financial performance indicators.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and financial modeling.
• Experience with ERP systems and business intelligence/reporting tools; Power BI knowledge is an advantage.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Experience in preparing and presenting financial reports to senior management.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the company's annual budgeting, periodic forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual budget-versus-actual reporting and variance analysis.
• Monitor financial performance, identify deviations, and recommend corrective actions.
• Analyze revenue, operating expenses, profitability, and cost structures across business units.
• Develop comprehensive management reports, financial dashboards, and KPI analyses to support strategic decision-making.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management regarding operational efficiency and business performance.
• Collaborate closely with finance, accounting, and operational departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Coordinate budget planning activities with relevant departments and ensure alignment with corporate financial objectives.
• Identify opportunities for cost optimization, process improvement, and increased financial efficiency.
• Improve budgeting, forecasting, and reporting methodologies through automation and data-driven solutions.
• Support long-term financial planning and strategic business initiatives.
