Duties

• Provide personalized customer service by understanding individual needs and recommending suitable products based on preferences and experience levels
• Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about new or featured items, enhancing their shopping experience
• Operate POS systems efficiently for retail sales transactions, including cash handling, credit card processing, and managing the cash drawer accurately
• Assist with stocking shelves, merchandising displays, and maintaining inventory levels to ensure an organized and inviting store environment
• Upsell products by highlighting benefits and features to maximize sales opportunities while adhering to compliance standards
• Supervise shift activities by overseeing team members’ performance, ensuring adherence to store policies, and maintaining a high standard of customer service
• Handle phone inquiries professionally with excellent phone etiquette, providing information or directing calls as needed

Requirements

• Previous retail sales experience with proficiency in POS systems and cash register operations
• Supervising experience preferred to effectively lead shifts and motivate team members
• Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers
• Knowledge of retail store product lines related to cannabis or wellness products is advantageous
• Ability to perform basic math for retail math calculations, cash handling, and balancing cash drawers accurately
• Experience in product demos, upselling techniques, merchandising, stocking, and inventory management
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional phone etiquette
• Familiarity with retail sales transactions and cash register operations in a fast-paced environment

Pay: From $19.29 per hour
