Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service through active listening and personalized recommendations
• Educate customers about product features, effects, and proper usage through engaging product demos and clear communication
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for cash handling, sales transactions, and inventory management
• Assist with merchandising efforts by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and maintaining a clean, inviting store environment
• Upsell products by highlighting benefits and suggesting complementary items to enhance customer satisfaction
• Manage inventory levels by monitoring stock, conducting stock replenishments, and participating in regular stock audits
• Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when handling inquiries or scheduling appointments, ensuring professional communication at all times
• Supervise or assist in supervising team members when needed, fostering a collaborative retail atmosphere

Qualifications

• Prior retail sales experience with a focus on customer service in a fast-paced environment such as grocery stores or specialty retail shops
• Experience with POS systems and cash handling procedures to ensure accurate transactions
• Strong communication skills in both English and bilingual settings to serve diverse customer needs effectively
• Demonstrated ability to perform retail math for sales calculations, discounts, and inventory counts
• Knowledge of cannabis products or willingness to learn about product effects, dosing, and safety guidelines
• Supervising experience is a plus for leadership opportunities within the team
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in merchandising and stocking duties
• Excellent phone etiquette and professional demeanor when interacting with customers or team members
