Budtender – Cannabis Dispensary (Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a knowledgeable, friendly, and reliable Budtender to join our team. Candidates must have strong cannabis knowledge, a positive attitude, and a commitment to delivering an outstanding customer experience.

Social media comfort or marketing skills are a big plus.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers with product selection based on their needs.
• Provide knowledgeable guidance on cannabis products, strains, effects, and consumption methods.
• Accurately process sales transactions through our POS system.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant sales floor.
• Stay current on product offerings, industry trends, and compliance regulations.
• Assist with light marketing tasks (like participating in social media posts, product promotions, and events).
• Help with restocking, inventory, and opening/closing duties as needed.

Requirements:

• Must be 21+ years old.
• Solid knowledge of cannabis strains, products, and consumption methods.
• Comfortable being featured in store marketing (like social media posts, product videos, or photos).
• Previous experience in retail, customer service, or cannabis industry preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work evenings and weekends if needed.

Bonus Skills (Not Required but a Plus):

• Social media experience (Instagram, TikTok, content creation).
• Marketing, graphic design, or event promotion experience.
