Duties

• Greet customers warmly, assess their needs, and provide personalized product recommendations
• Educate customers on different strains, consumption methods, and product effects through engaging product demos
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
• Maintain well-organized merchandising displays and ensure products are stocked correctly
• Conduct regular stock checks and assist with inventory management to keep shelves full and appealing
• Upsell complementary products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when handling inquiries or taking orders remotely
• Supervise junior staff or trainees when applicable, providing guidance on customer service and product knowledge

Skills

• Proven experience with POS systems and cash register operations in retail settings
• Supervising experience in a retail or hospitality environment is highly desirable
• Ability to perform product demos confidently and clearly communicate product benefits
• Bilingual skills to serve diverse customer bases effectively are a plus
• Strong communication skills with a friendly, professional phone manner
• Skilled in upselling techniques to maximize sales while maintaining customer trust
• Knowledge of merchandising, stocking procedures, and retail math for inventory accuracy
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating positive shopping experiences
• Basic math skills for cash handling, change calculation, and sales transactions
• Experience in grocery store or retail sales environments is beneficial but not required
