Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and recommending suitable products based on their preferences and experience levels
• Conduct product demos to educate customers about different strains, edibles, concentrates, and accessories
• Operate POS systems efficiently for retail sales transactions, including cash handling and cash drawer management
• Maintain accurate stock levels through stocking, merchandising, and inventory management to ensure product availability and presentation standards are met
• Assist with upselling products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales revenue
• Handle retail store product knowledge confidently to answer questions and guide customers effectively
• Demonstrate professional phone etiquette when communicating with customers or vendors

Requirements

• Prior retail sales or grocery store experience preferred; strong familiarity with POS systems is essential
• Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in team settings
• Bilingual skills are highly valued to serve diverse customer bases effectively
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on clear, friendly interactions both in person and over the phone
• Experience in product demos, upselling, merchandising, and stock management is desirable
• Basic math skills for retail math calculations, cash register operations, and cash handling procedures
• Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, cannabis products (if applicable), and compliance regulations
• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to handle retail sales transactions professionally
