Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products tailored to their needs, providing detailed product demos when appropriate.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of retail store products, including strains, edibles, concentrates, and accessories, to answer questions confidently.
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently for retail sales transactions, including cash handling and cash drawer management.
• Upsell and recommend additional products to enhance customer satisfaction and sales performance.
• Stock shelves accurately, organize merchandise displays, and ensure proper merchandising standards are maintained throughout the store.
• Conduct product demos and educate customers on product effects, usage instructions, and safety guidelines.
• Handle retail store operations such as inventory management, stock replenishment, and adhering to compliance regulations related to cannabis sales.
• Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or scheduling appointments.
• Supervise or assist in supervising team members as needed, fostering a collaborative environment focused on excellent customer service.

Experience

• Previous retail sales experience with a focus on customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Bilingual skills are a plus to effectively communicate with diverse customer bases.
• Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, and retail math for accurate transactions.
• Experience in supervising or leading teams is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills with an emphasis on clear, friendly interactions both in person and over the phone.
• Knowledge of cannabis products or willingness to learn through product demos and ongoing training sessions.
• Ability to handle cash handling procedures accurately while maintaining compliance with legal regulations related to retail cannabis sales.

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
