Position Details

Location: Bigfork, MT
Position: Full-Time Sales Associate / Budtender
Pay: $18.00/hour starting wage, increasing to $20.00/hour after successful completion of the probationary period with opportunities to move up in the future.
Hours: 30–39 hours per week
Schedule: Flexible availability, including weekends
Work Location: In person

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome every customer with a friendly, professional attitude.
• Provide knowledgeable and attentive customer service.
• Learn and maintain strong knowledge of products, brands, and store offerings.
• Ask questions and make thoughtful product recommendations based on customer needs.
• Educate customers and confidently answer questions.
• Operate the POS system accurately and efficiently.
• Handle cash and electronic transactions responsibly.
• Maintain accurate product displays, pricing, and inventory organization.
• Keep the sales floor, counters, and other store areas clean, organized, and inviting.
• Restock products and supplies as needed.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and applicable state regulations.
• Represent Smoke2o professionally and positively at all times.
• Assist with opening, closing, cleaning, and other daily store operations.
• Work as part of a team and assist at other Smoke2o locations when needed.

Qualifications & Skills

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Friendly, outgoing, and professional personality.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Honest, dependable, and trustworthy.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
• Comfortable working with cash and electronic POS systems.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to learn and retain product knowledge, policies, and procedures.
• Ability to problem-solve and handle a variety of customer situations professionally.
• Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player.
• Previous retail, sales, customer service, or cannabis industry experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and move around the store for the duration of a shift.
• Ability to regularly bend, reach, lift, and stock merchandise.
• Ability to safely use a step ladder when necessary.
• Ability to perform routine cleaning and other physical tasks associated with retail operations.
